What happens when you pay

  1. If you pay by card, the server is created automatically once the bank confirms the payment. By bank transfer, we create it when the money arrives.
  2. You get an email with the server name, its IP address and the user to log in with.
  3. Log in over SSH, or Remote Desktop for Windows. The client area gives you the console, firewall, usage graphs and snapshots.
  4. If you chose a management level, our team does the initial setup. On levels with included hours, it comes out of the first month’s hours; on Maintenance, it’s quoted or taken from an hours bundle.

  • The servers are in a data centre in Andorra.
  • You buy from an Andorran company, BDR Informàtica i Comunicacions, under Andorran law.
  • Andorra holds an EU adequacy decision for data protection (2010/625/EU).
  • Invoices with an Andorran tax ID (NRT), and IGI only for customers in Andorra.

Container or virtual machine?

Both give you your own server with administrator access. A container uses the host machine’s kernel and costs less; a virtual machine has its own kernel and can run Windows.

Basic and Business have a fixed size; on the two custom options, you choose it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upgrade the server later?

On custom servers, yes: ask us through a ticket in the client area and we’ll do it. Disk space can only grow, so it pays to start small. If you have Basic or Business and outgrow it, open a ticket and we’ll talk it through.

Where is the server?

In a data centre in Andorra. You buy from an Andorran company and the contract is governed by Andorran law.

Which operating systems can I choose?

On containers (Basic, Business and Custom container): Debian 13, Ubuntu 24.04 and Ubuntu 26.04. On the custom virtual machine: Debian 13, Ubuntu 24.04, Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025. The operating system costs nothing extra.

Are backups included?

No. The 5 snapshots let you roll back a change, but they aren’t backups. On Basic and Business you can add a daily backup kept for 7 days, or for 30 days with a second data centre. With a management level, Managed Backups are added. They’re a separate service: if you also have the daily backup, you pay for both.

What if the server stops responding?

Use the browser console, which works even if the server’s network doesn’t, and restart it yourself from the client area. If you’d rather our team handled it, choose a management level.

Can I run Windows Server?

Yes, on the custom virtual machine: Windows Server 2022 or 2025, with your own licence. It needs at least 2 GB of memory and 40 GB of disk, and with those minimums it starts at €25.82 a month, excluding IGI. If you pick less, the page adjusts it and tells you.

Is there a minimum term?

Not on monthly billing: you can cancel the renewal at any time from the client area. On yearly billing you pay the year up front and save.

I don’t want to run the server myself. What can I do?

Choose a management level when you configure it: our team handles updates, checks that it responds and looks after backups, within the level’s hours. It’s all explained on the managed VPS page.
