Does DNS cost anything?
No. It’s included with the domains you have with us and isn’t sold separately.
Where do I edit the records?
From your client area, yourself and whenever you like, without opening a ticket.
How long does a change take to apply?
When a new zone is created, it reaches our three servers in under a minute: we measured it when creating zones. Elsewhere, it depends on each record’s TTL: anyone who already had it cached may keep serving it until it expires.
Which records can I create?
A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS and CAA. With these you point your website, email, subdomains and external service verifications.
What happens to the zone if I transfer the domain here?
If it switches to our name servers when you transfer it, the zone is created automatically. If you had records at your old provider, such as those for an external email service, note them down before the switch and recreate them in the client area.
